digitalsprung GmbH has developed a user-friendly configurator for the stylish OUT sofas that leaves nothing to be desired. With this tool, the sofa elements can be combined as desired and the colors can be selected individually. Once the configuration is complete, customers can request a quote, save and send their configuration or even download a 3D model.

Combeenation offers virtually unlimited freedom in the creation of configurators. All the possibilities of the 3D engine can be used, the UI is freely customizable and can be adapted to the appearance of the web store as usual using CSS.
What were the biggest hurdles during implementation?
The migration of Shopify product data to the configurator. The target products are available in 100s of different variants in a wide variety of combinations. For example, prices must be kept up to date and the product dimensions must be very precisely coordinated to enable a realistic display in the configurator.
How quickly were you able to familiarize yourself with the platform? Do you have any tips for quick familiarization?
Combeenation offers comprehensive documentation for the platform. Right at the beginning, we were given an introduction to all the important functions and a basis for the code base.
As a tip, you can definitely add the BabylonJS documentation to make 3D development easier.
