Where is the product data located?

The product data for the configurator (article master data, images, texts, 3D data) is maintained as digital assets in the configurator system or kept up to date with the help of automated data imports.

Where is the product logic?

The product logic is also located in the configurator system and, depending on the logic and application, can be available on several levels and processed accordingly.

Do I have to maintain everything twice?

At the start of the project, it is determined where which data is available and how it is maintained in the configurator system so that there is no duplicate maintenance of price lists or article master data, for example.

Can I distinguish between different users?

Of course, we can treat users differently. For example: Dealers from Germany are shown different prices than dealers in America.
