While exceedingly successful, "The Indoor Golf Shop" also recognizes customer expectations evolving in a way that demands more bespoke/custom golf simulator options, "The Indoor Golf Shop" was faced with the challenge of offering an immense selection of different parts from different manufacturers. However, not all of them can be combined in any way. This can quickly lead to confusion for customers, as it is unclear which components are compatible with each other. The overarching goal was to develop a tool that would enable both experienced and inexperienced people to identify the compatibility of the individual parts. In this way, both private and business customers should be able to find the right products quickly and accurately to build a full golf simulator specifically designed around their needs.
The focus of the configurator is on strong visualization for an intuitive and immersive buying experience. In a guided selling process, customers are walked through the selection process and only variants that can be combined accordingly are permitted. The configuration starts empty and users have the opportunity to build up a 3D scene step by step. This offers the advantage that not all parts have to be purchased at once. For example, customers can decide to buy just the mat without having to complete the entire configuration

The quality of the 3D models in this configurator is particularly noteworthy. These detailed models were created based on excellent photo references from "The Indoor Golf Shop". The 3D models make it immediately recognizable whether the respective components are premium or standard products (surface, lighting, etc.). Even the smallest details such as the application of patches were carefully integrated. It is also impressive that despite the high quality, the file sizes are surprisingly small, which in turn optimizes loading times and enables a smooth user experience.
An immersive 3D environment is staged in the golf simulator, which creates an additional dimension of authenticity through sophisticated floor reflections.
It is possible to maintain data yourself. These are entered in an Excel list and then uploaded. Thumbnails can also be exchanged independently.
If an inquiry is received from a potential customer, an email is sent to "The Indoor Golf Shop" and a lead is automatically created in the CRM system at the same time.
