OPO Oeschger has been supporting tradesmen throughout Switzerland for over 90 years by supplying exactly what they need. They stock more than 70,000 products in their extensive warehouse, including furniture and kitchen fittings, lighting, sliding door fittings, door and building hardware, glass and metal building hardware as well as tools and fastening technology.

Improved user experience
OPO Oeschger already had a drawer configurator in the past, but it was very outdated and offered a less appealing user experience. The following key challenges therefore arose:
- How do you create a user-friendly interface so that users can easily design drawers without any prior technical knowledge?
- How can only technically feasible options be offered?
THE SOLUTION
Productive sales tool
The configurator for drawer inserts serves to simplify planning on the one hand and to provide a clearer visual idea on the other. This tool makes it possible to present finished inserts by using templates from various suppliers or by entering dimensions accurate to the millimeter. The various elements, such as cutlery inserts, multifunctional inserts, depth extension models and partitions, can then be placed in the drawer.

2D planning mode & 3D visualization mode
The configurator offers two modes: the 2D planning mode and the 3D visualization mode for an even better product presentation.
Automatic length and width adjustment of elements
Depending on the size of the drawer, special elements adapt automatically and increase and decrease in size in real time.
Free placement of elements
The elements can simply be dragged and dropped into the drawer and rotated as required. They can be placed and moved freely within the drawer to find the optimum arrangement.
Our first project with Combeenation was a complete success. They developed a 3D configurator for us that not only works quickly and dynamically, but also met our expectations.
